Duo Omejc – Kosovinc brings together two of Slovenia’s most versatile young musicians: saxophonist Andrej Omejc and guitarist-composer Timotej Kosovinc. The duo’s repertoire blends Timotej Kosovinc’s original compositions with inventive arrangements of works by Celso Machado, Máximo Diego Pujol, Astor Piazzolla, Manuel de Falla, and others. Drawing on the rich folk traditions of Spain and South America, the guitar provides warmth and authenticity, while the saxophone adds a modern, popular-music energy.
