Andrej Omejc is an internationally acclaimed saxophonist, educated in Ljubljana, Cologne, and Munich. A prizewinner at numerous prestigious European competitions, he performs regularly at leading international festivals and concert halls. As a soloist, he has appeared with major orchestras including the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra and the Slovenian Philharmonic Choir. A former member of the European Union Youth Orchestra, Omejc performs worldwide and is currently a member of the acclaimed Ensemble 4Saxess and Trio Ardor. He is also an active chamber musician, collaborating regularly with pianist Blaž Pavlakovič, accordionist Teja Udovič Kovačič, and guitarist Timotej Kosovinc.
